The importance of memory for the future of Europe - debate on the waterfront (7 April 2022)

We cordially invite you to a debate at Kobka 17 on the Smíchov Embankment. Representatives of the Platform of European Memory and Conscience and guests from Polish memory institutions will talk about the current challenges and problems in the field of researching and commemorating modern history, the falsification of history and the information war. Marek Mutor, Paweł Ukielski and Maciej Ruczaj have accepted the invitation, moderated by Peter Rendek, Director of the Platform of European Memory and Conscience.

The event will take place on 6 April 2022 at 6 pm as part of the week of events of the Museum of Memory of the XXth Century on the Smíchov Embankment in the exhibition space called Kobka 17.

Kobka 17 can be found at the southern end of the Hořejší nábřeží embankment, diagonally opposite the ferry station, and there are several pubs and cafés in its neighbourhood. It can be reached either from the direction of Anděl or by a pleasant walk from Výtona over the railway bridge. The event is realized with the financial support of the Capital City of Prague. Prague.
