The new issue of XX.

In the fourth issue of the popularization review of the Museum of Memory of the XXth Century you will find, as always, a lot of interesting reading. Among other things, you will learn about the circumstances of the creation of the book Factory for Death by Ota Kraus and Erich Kulka, who were the first to describe the conditions in the Auschwitz concentration camp. The article was written by Ota Kraus' son Michael. The cover of the magazine shows the two heroes in post-war Prague.
In the Documents section we will introduce you to the diary entries of musician and composer Jan Rychlík from his trip to Finland in 1937, prepared by Michal Macháček.
We also present several collection items that we have acquired for the museum's upcoming permanent exhibition. You will also find out what archaeological research has revealed in the underground of our future headquarters - the House of the Pážat in Hradčany. There will also be a look back at the museum's events in the past year and, of course, we will take you to interesting places of memory abroad. And that's not all.
The yearbook will be available from January 2025 in bookstores cooperating with the company Kosmas.cz. You can also buy it in person at the office of the Museum of the Memory of the XXth Century at 22 Opletalova Street for 150 CZK (from 9 am to 3 pm or by appointment).
