The museum has ambitious plans for 2024, which include opening a permanent exhibition at Hradčany, developing further local and international cooperation, organising exhibitions or a film festival and public discussions. The Museum of the Memory of the 20th Century is an institution of memory, collection, education and education, which was established by a resolution of the City Council of the Capital City of Prague. The functioning of the museum has so far been financed mainly from the funds of the capital city. Prague City Councillors have now approved the provision of funds in the amount of CZK 21,000,000 to finance the activities and operation of the Museum of the Memory of the XXth Century, z. ú. in 2024. This application has met all the conditions of Act No. 250/2000 Coll., on budgetary rules for territorial budgets, as amended. The application was also submitted to the Committee for Culture, Heritage Care, Exhibition and Tourism Promotion of the City Council of the Capital City of Prague. Prague, which discussed the matter on 7 February 2024 and recommended to the Council of the Capital City of Prague that the matter be submitted to the Council of the Capital City of Prague. The Council of the City of Prague approved the granting of the subsidy on 7 May 2024.
