We cordially invite you to the opening of an outdoor exhibition presenting the life, work and life of Pavel Tigrid (1917-2003), an extraordinary personality of Czech modern history. The exhibition will be on display at Mariánské náměstí (Prague 1) from 2 to 30 September 2024.
The opening will take place on 2 September 2024 at 2 pm.
A guided tour of the exhibition is scheduled for the same day at 6 pm.
Václav Havel's remembrance of Pavel Tigrid (2003): 'Pavel Tigrid was a man who combined in a special way a sense of principle with courtesy, politeness, openness and a sincere interest in the opinion of others. I have the impression that Pavel Tigrid lives not only as a concept, an idea and a principle, but also as a challenge. It is a challenge to all of us to try again and again to combine openness, curiosity, courtesy, gentlemanliness with principle."
The event is held under the auspices of the Deputy Mayor of Prague JUDr. Jiří Pospíšil and the Mayor of Prague 1 Mgr. Terezie Radoměřská.
