We cordially invite you to the Libri prohibiti library on Thursday, 13 October 2022 at 6 pm for a reading from the book The Last First Book and a discussion with its author Olga Sozanska. In the book, she revisits her childhood and adolescence during the 1950s and 1960s, which was marked by the political situation, permanent housing shortage and problematic family background. Olga Sozanská, however, looks back without pity and presents the reality and lifestyle of the fifth and sixth decades of the last century and earlier periods in a lively, witty and very personal way. Through spontaneous digressions in the narrative, she also gets to the stories of her parents, grandparents and other close people, creating a colourful mosaic of the adventurous, tragic and absurd peripeties of the 20th century.
The reading will be introduced by Jiří Gruntorád and Petr Blažek, Bobes Rössler will play the guitar. Moderated by Veronika Bendová.
