We join in the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the events of November 1989 and look forward to seeing you on 17 November 2024 on these occasions:
HISTORICAL EXIT from the Mánes building on Masaryk Embankment
- The hour and a half long walk will start at 10.00 am and will lead through Masaryk Embankment, Národní třída and Wenceslas Square.
- The guide will be architectural historian Zdeněk Lukeš, a participant in the demonstration on 17 November 1989 and subsequently a member of the Civic Forum Coordination Centre.

TALKING ABOUT PAVL TIGRID IN THE EDUCATIONAL TRAM at the National Theatre stop
- On tram 17 from 14:00 and on tram 11 from 16:15.
- During the half-hour programmes, historians Petr Blažek and Michal Macháček will present the life, work and life of Pavel Tigrid (1917-2003). Tigrid was one of the most important personalities of Czechoslovak history and his life was significantly influenced by the great turning points of the 20th century. He received high Czech, French and German state honours.
