Advisory Board for Collection Activities

The Advisory Board for Collection Development is an expert advisory body to the Director of the Twentieth Century Memorial Museum, z. ú., in the area of collection development strategy and in the area of management and preservation of the collections managed by it. It expresses its opinion on the strategy of the collections and any changes to it, on the acquisition of new additions to the collections, on the removal of objects from the collections register and on other issues relating to the management and preservation of the collections. The members of the Advisory Board and its chairman are appointed by the Director of the Twentieth Century Memorial Museum, who also issues the statutes and rules of procedure. Meetings of the committee are convened by its chairman or the director of the museum at least once a year. Minutes are taken of the meetings of the commission.
