Commemorative act in Ďáblice

On 26 June 2022, we honoured the memory of the victims of the communist regime at a traditional commemoration in Ďablice. Flowers were laid by Jan Kalous, director of the Museum of the Memory of the Twentieth Century, at the monument in the local cemetery where the remains of many opponents and victims of both totalitarian regimes were secretly placed in mass graves. On 23 June 2022, the Museum of the Memory of the 20th Century co-organised a seminar on the history of this important place of memory.
