As part of this year's Mene Tekel International Festival, a conference was held on Tuesday 27 February 2024 on the topic of The role of education in the interpretation of modern history. The event was held under the auspices of RNDr. Jitka Seitlová, Vice-Chairwoman of the Senate of the Czech Republic.
The Museum of the Memory of the 20th Century was represented by its director Petr Blažek, who spoke about the successful realization of the Jan Palach Memorial in Všetaty and the Memorial of the Three Resistances in Lošany. He also informed the audience about the educational projects of the Museum of the Memory of the XXth Century and about the upcoming exhibition in the House of the Pardons at Hradčany.
