Debate Hungarian Uprising 1956 (23. 11. 2021)

We cordially invite you to the debate evening of the Museum of Memory of the XXth Century at the Václav Havel Library. The topic will be the anti-communist uprising in Hungary in 1956. The bloody Soviet suppression was followed by the no less specific phenomenon of Kádár's goulash socialism, which was preceded by years of brutal reckoning with the defeated opposition.
